Seasons

How often do we test our ability to asses our own lives? What are the parameters that we base it upon?

What makes us so confident that the way we see ourselves is based on reality?

We are more preoccupied with fighting our past for the sake of our future, instead of lovingly nurturing our present so it has the means to grow into a wholesome future.

Clues

What if the setbacks you had in your life and the circumstances that you perceive as failures are the very things that create your success? What if they are the factors that are shaping you into the person who can carry the success you will inevitably reach?

Maybe when you think you are falling behind because you can’t keep up with the world, you aren’t falling behind at all; rather, you’re slowing down to notice the key that unlocks the right next door.

What if those setbacks aren’t the universe conspiring against you, but rather offering clues that lead towards greatness, if you dare to follow?

The right season

Who is to say that one thing is less important than another, in the big picture of our becoming?

Maybe the struggle offers a soil rich in nutrients to grow various perspectives that shape us into the person we are destined to be.

Maybe we’re not abandoning ourselves and paving the path to failure, but by gently letting time do its thing, we’re allowing our greatness to sprout and bloom when the right season arrives.

complete and whole

Maybe these challenges are missing puzzles that create a great piece you are becoming.

Maybe each experience offers recalibration and an upgrade of your character.

Maybe when so many doors close on you, you don’t lose anything, only gain a clearer vision of the ones that are right for you.

What if, to every single thing in front of you, there is a new angle you never saw before?

What if, after all, you’ve been doing it right all along?

And what’s behind you is a skeleton giving rise to the embodiment of the goodness and wealth you have within you.

What if you were told wrong, and everything labeled as failures or the things that broke you apart were the very things that rearranged the broken pieces in you so they fit better than before?

What if you are complete and whole?

Not despite the pain, the breakage, many changes, and the struggle you carry within – but because of them, and the depth of life they offer.
