Twin sisters
Who forgot each other’s names
Walk shoulder to shoulder
In the opposite way.
Where one moves forward
The other falls backward
Two of them are light
Yet both of them are not.
When one sees the darkness
Of the other shine,
Another breathes
For the first time.
Embraced, taken as one,
Ground electrifies
Under the touch of
Their two bare feet.
Joined, now as one,
They sound each other’s name,
Tenderly parting
In the opposite way.
