Grace

What holds a person when their posture starts to disintegrate in front of their eyes?

There is a single word that philosophers, theologians, and writers with a genuine curiosity for human nature always resort to when unraveling the climax of human growth:

Grace.

What is so special about that word? How come something so gentle-sounding, something you would imagine with the most fragile composure, acts as a pillar to an individual’s ascent?

Grace is beyond just a mere word, concept, manner, or politeness of being.

It is an atmosphere of harmony; a state of being where both feminine and masculine aspects unite and stand as one. Full submission to what is, but an unbreached core of being. Acceptance of circumstances, but an altered perspective.

Then, every impediment evolves from a burden into an opportunity to liberate something new.

Grace is found in the moment when you stop fighting what is; it is an aftermath of an exhale. Expiration that signals not an act of giving up, but acceptance of your destiny. You realise then how what you’ve been looking for lies not in bending everything according to your will, but in extracting signs and patterns from what stands in front of you, and translating meanings which guide you home.

Grace is a horizon that connects the two worlds of fear and faith; of restless striving and patient becoming. Where one ends, the other dawns.

It is a connective tissue to human growth; quietly and gently enveloping the muscles and organs of our becoming, containing the forces under which we safely grow and transform.

Grace is a state of being where you naturally exist, both soft and strong.

All honest battles are won with it.

Kings and queens are crowned not with gold, but with grace.
